 There has been much talk around the club for a need to restart the yearly golf tournament. Every weekend there is always a group from the club that plays over in Columbia, IL and it seems the group is getting bigger. Word is that the tourney got discountinued because not many people played anymore but now with some new blood it seems over half the league are hackers.
Pat Meyer has talked to the people over at Columbia Golf Course and they have Sat. Aug 30th open after 2 p.m. Also, it's way cheaper if we play at that time.This is all tentative but free your schedule because it looks more and more like we'll make this happen. Pat also talked to a few guys from Lemay Corkball and they said they'd be interested too... so it might be a joint league thing so we can get a good turnout. We are hoping for 80
