They are selling on the idea of sending a team for the tourney on August 2nd. Even after we told them it wouldn’t be on Sunday the Lards (Lords) day. They claim that nobody in their league can make it because they will all be on vacation…what a joke! Oh yeah one more thing whoever this Tony guy is that pitches in their league…Fuck him!

There’s a new sheriff in town on team 300 Eric “THE TRUTH” Enright has arrived and will be participating on Sportsmans 2 in the tournament. He threw a 2 hit shutout last week and looks to be the newest in a long lineage of pitching greats coming out of the Sportsmans corkball club. But you know what…Fuck him too! Rumor has it he blew out his arm picking up a washer and dryer at Goedekers. Instead of assisting him with loading the purchase the Goedekers were too busy doing dishes and sucking at corkball!

Nobody will stop the Future in pursuit of his batting title…Nobody!

FUTURE OUT

With the big tourney just over a month away,It has been brought to my attention that people who claim they are “Corkball” have not put in a team the past couple of years. Well Goedeker boys here is your chance put up or shut up.

I also checked out the new website for Lemay…not bad welcome to the year 2008 guys. Oh and here’s a little advice I wouldn’t put in more than 1 team in the tourney, it would just make you look even worse when all of your teams get bounced early on that Saturday. Lemay club credibility is already at an all time low and I would hate for you guys to be more of a laughing stock then you already are. Fugel I’m talking to you!

Also feel free to bring your children, wives, girlfriends, cousins, uncles, aunts, brothers, sisters, parents, and grandparents up on tournament day, I’ll have my own tent signing autographs in between victories on my way to a championship.

Well I’ll start with you Mr. Lama…

Since the only thing you seem to want to respond about are the fields and how long you’ve played corkball, I can only draw one conclusion…You’re probably not any good at corkball. In fact You are probably like every other old hack I’ve met from the other leagues who talk about all the things you did 10 or 15 years ago. So get up to my level and then we’ll talk.

Buddha- I wasn’t even born when all this “field construction” was going on, however since I am one of the younger guys in any of the leagues don’t you think I’ll have to rebuild the backstops at some point? I can assure you that when the time comes I will be there helping….JACKASS! And I’m not even close to being done yet with you. If your pitching is so good that they don’t need the extra height on the mounds how come you guys have not one the tournament in the past couple years? One more thing. I appreciate the offer on being the waterboy however I wouldn’t want to take your job away from you but if you’re looking for a promotion you can hold my jock at the tournament and help me put it on.

Big Bad John Fugel- A very valid point you have made. It is true My team was bounced very early in last years tournament, I will give you that. But if I recall I believe I got into your head at some point during a game you were playing and you folded up like a lawn chair. Do thay give hall of fame awards to choke artists? I’m just wonderin’

On a better note I’ve contributed to the Sportsmans Corkball Club youth movement by bringing in a stud, so everybody show some love to Eric “The Truth” Enright.

Future Out

This first blog is dedicated to the other corkball leagues or as I like to call them “The Minors”. I’ll start with Lemay first because they like to complain about us winning the tournament every year.

Lemay - Hey Fugel can you please bring a worthy team to the tournament this year? You’re like a blind date I hear nothing but good things about you then I show up and get left extremely dissapointed.

Gateway - If you have a corkball website don’t put up a picture of you winning a fuzzball championship. Goedekers you guys are jokes, win something concerning corkball and then put it up. Oh and call your own games you losers.

Southside - I don’t know enough to say anything so I won’t…maybe thats not a good thing. But our club works the fields on a weekly basis to make them playable even after bad weather, while you guys knock the mounds down because your hitting sucks.
