Posted on Jun 27, 2010
Everything is updated thru wk 13. World Cup is over and I guess its time to start thinking about corkball again.

DH this week. These games will probably decide the playoffs. I hope its over 100 degrees so everyone is whining.

World Cup

Well... corkball is in the middle of a long boring season so let's talk a little World Cup. Sorry Pooch... Italy musta slipped on the grease. USA is looking alright but statboy thinks they might fizzle out. Now... "The gauchos" you can all bet on them. How could you not root for the greatest ever.

Week 11 Stats & Results

Posted on Jun 11, 2010
Everything is updated thru week 11. Andrew Yanick is back and is leading the league in hitting. "Stone-cold" Tom Meadows started his first game behind the dish and brought a strike zone bigger than Sean Peters & Pat Meyer combined. There was alot of mumbling behind the backstop on his calls but he stuck it to them going 4-5 and hitting the game winning 3-run bomb in the 6th. After the game, Tom was seen walking around asking everyone in the club and the kids running around this question...

Standings are getting tighter every week! The upcoming double headers will be BIG games.

Statboy is working in MySQL now so all the stats from 2007-2010 will be in an online DB. It'll be sortable yearly, 4 year totals and by categories, etc. A few new categories will be added since they'll be built in like SLG, OPS, etc. Graphs will be added in the future and eventually the "Club Stats Bible" spreadsheet will be add for club history.

If you saw some colloege chick with a backpack and some garbage words today its because statboy forgot to renew the domain name. All good now.

Looks like we will be dry tonight.
