Week 6 Stats & Results

Posted on May 07, 2010
Everything is updated thru week 6.

Week 6 Results
Team #4 and Team #6 tied, 0-0 on Field 2
Team #3 beat Team #2, 1-0 on Field 3
Team #5 and Team #7 tied, 3-3 on Field 4

This week was the first week of using the new "hard balls" (Tim get your mind out of the gutter) and there were a few triple but no longballs.

Pooch is heating up and climbing up the leader board trying to capture back-to-back-to-back batting titles, a feat Ray Timmons could only dream of in his hayday.

We have a new batting leader though, who I officially deem as "The Pest"... Mike Jung. He's like a gnat you can't get rid off.

The new HBP rule came into effect in 2 games... no decision yet whether this was good or bad for the club. Either way I think we should all bitch and moan at Ray everyweek to fire him up... it's a Thursday night delight to hear El Presidente's concert voice.

Tim O'Connell, once again, missed this week for a pom-pom recital. We are really starting to doubt Tim's dedication to his team, corkball, and drinking. Mark Connoley was mopping around looking depressed cus his better half left him hanging. Maybe Tim should hit the cigs again.

Next week is the last week of the first 1/3 of the season so everyone should have played everyone then.

Week 5 Stats & Results

Posted on May 03, 2010
Everything is updated thru week 5.

Week 5 Results
Team #3 beat Team #5, 1-0 on Field 2
Team #6 and Team #7 tied, 0-0 on Field 3
Team #4 beat Team #1, 1-0 on Field 4

John Worcester was the only one with a longball in Week 5. Tim O'Connell is still not smoking.

Future is leading the league in hitting but his season is over... might as well take him down off the leaderboard for too few AB's.

Andrew Yanick made an appearance in Week 5. Still injured.

New poll has been added.
