Update 3/28 - Some of us are going up to JB tomorrw (Sat.) around noon for some pickup games. Call Sean at 314-596-8985 if interested.
Update 3/20 - There was a strong showing at draft and things went smoothly! We got 8 solid teams this year! The teams and rosters are posted here. I don't have the complete schedule yet but on opening day ( Apr. 5th at noon) its Team 1 vs. Team 2, Team 3 vs. Team 4, Team 5 vs. Team 6, And Team 7 vs. Team 8. The tentative schedule, dates and times only, is posted here and will be updated with teams soon. Good luck to all for a great season!
Work day is this Sat. Mar. 22nd at noon. We need people to be there the fields are a disaster!
Update 3/19 - Gateway Corkball Club is sponsoring the Corkball Home Run Derby. Anyone is invited and there is prize money for the winners. I will bring the flyer to the draft or you can read more about it here.
Update 3/16 - Had some free time today so I madea logo for our club. No offense to Gerald but the logo on the tshirts isn't that appealing. At the board meeting we were talking about getting flexfit hats made instead of tshirts in the future because more people would buy them and probably wear/use them more. Here is what I came up with>
Click on the image below to open the full-size logo in a seperate page.
I'm open to comments, questions, and suggestions.
Update 3/15 - I was in Johnny Mac's today looking for new spikes, that actually fit and saw they had some nice deals for baseball spikes on the clearence rack. Usually, they are overpriced but they had all size of last years models from $15-$40. If you need some new spikes check them out. Also, here are some nice deals.
Hopefully, Gerald comes thru with that dirt! Not sure if was the mounds, my 1-size to small shoes, or my f-ed up pitching motion but I lost a few toenails and went threw a pair of sock every game last year.
Update 3/14 - We had the board meeting last night and went over things for pick night and the season. The meeting minutes are posted so go here to find out info for pick night, pick order, and other things about our season.
Just a reminder! Pick night is this coming Thursday, March 20th at 7:00 pm at Lemmon's on Gravois. More info here.
Work day is March 22nd starting at noon at JB. We will be BAR-B-Q'ing.

Update 2/18 - Ray Timmons went on a tirade at the meeting because I never update this website so here are some updates.
2/14 Board Meeting minutes posted.
This Thursday, 2/21, there is a club meeting at Lemmon's at 7 pm. We will pick pills for pick order for the draft.
This Saturday, 2/23, is the awards banquet at Pietro's off Watson.
The draft is set for March 20th, 3rd Thursday in March. More info on picks and pitchers/catchers can be found in the recent minutes.
Happy now, Ray?
Update 1/30 - All you lazy asses who haven't sent in your awards banquet RSVP's do it today.
Any word on the holdem?
Sean said tonight that Tyler Faulstitch is back in the club so pitchers will be picking this year. We should have 8 solid pitchers and 8 solid teams.
Bob Young, from the So. St. Louis Corkball Club, sent us the championship pics from the tourney. Sean Peters looks like the bat boy. And, I think we should nominate Ray Timmons' towel for the "Hall of Fame"... that thing has been to hell and back and still makes it thru every year. It's like his Linus blanket. Maybe Drew should give him his Gatorade towel to replace it...

PS- From the looks of this pics it looks like the Brian is carrying on the Timmons' Towel Tradition
Update 1/18 - Tentative Game Schedule is up.
Update 1/11 - January 17th, Meeting at Lemons - 7pm - Elections will take place!!
February 23, - Awards Banquet 7pm at Pietro's.
Update 12/31 - The football pool has ended and since NE went 16-0 86 people out of 915 made it through the whole season. Each winner will get $106.00. If you are one of the winners, please bitch at Mike Steinfeld ASAP because word is that he is using the pool $ to hire a hitting instructor during the off-season, using it for Saturday bar hopping, and funding his golf exploits. I'm not sure how much $ there could be left. Happy New Year to all!
I will make updates for the 07' awards banquet and 08' season when I get them.
Update 12/5 - So the Xmas party was last Sat. hopefully everyone had a good time. I haven't heard any updates on the holdem stuff or the next club meeting so when I hear I will update the site. 93 people left in the pool with a close call on Mon. night which would have made it 29 left. Less than 4 months until opening day. Also, it was said among trade talks and a charge to get Johan Santana into our club at the "Corkball Winter Meetings" this past month that Ray Timmons has stopped drinking... Boy, Ray will be a big ball of fun this year. Good job Ray! Maybe you can hit the curveball now.
Update 10/25 - There are a few open board positions this year and we need nominations to vote on for the next meeting. Use this form to enter your nominations. Thanks.
Update 10/6 - Club meeting at Lemmon's this Thursday, 10/18, at 7:00 pm.
Update 10/8 - Sat. (10/13) is the "Tournamnet of Champions" at JB starting at Noon. Last I heard, Team #3 is not going to be able to make it so I think we will be represented by regular season champ, Team #1 - Sean Peters, Bob Sessler, Jason Perniciaro, Mark Connoley, & Jeff Shelby. I'm not sure on this either but I think it's going to be a 3 team (Sportman's, Lemay, & So. St. Louis - Gateway can't make it this year.) round-robin.
Ray said to post that he needs club members there to help ump, line judge, and bar-b-que.
Let's bring home the title and show the tourney win wasn't a fluke.
Update 10/1 - Club photo section is up. If anyone has phots they want to upload let me know. I will be adding ones throughout this past summer periodically. For the football pool, we are down to 426 with a bunch on New England tonight.
